Bellefontaine Christmas

After visiting Dad and Grandma, we headed to Mom and Ken's for a Christmas celebration with them and of course Kimmy!! We had a wonderful dinner and then visited as we opened gifts by the tree. Of course, the four shih tzus received lots of presents and attention and after gifts we had a great game of dominoes!

The next day we slept in and hung around in our jammies a while (Shona got to wear the new ones Kimmy gave her for Christmas!). Shona and Kathy decided to try out Kathy's new Garmin and went for a drive. Maybe I shouldn't mention they never did find the place they were looking for!! They did however make it home safe and sound. As is tradition in Bellefontaine, we played another game of dominoes (Jason's favorite!) on Friday before we left. It was a really nice visit.

Christmas in Huntsville

After celebrating in Delaware, we headed to Huntsville to have Christmas with Jason's Dad, his Grandma, and his brother, Aaron. We feasted on more yummy food and opened lots of presents. Grandma was especially excited to receive a new puppy herself. He's a little stuffed animal who barks and shakes his paw when you pet him.

Delaware Christmas

Christmas break started early for Shona who arrived at school Friday, December 19 and was told to go home due to a water problem. She enjoyed the day visiting with friends at her old school for lunch. That weekend Jason continued his hard work on the house having finished installing the new front windows, he moved on to organizing the garage while he waits for the downstairs windows he ordered to come in. While he was hard at work, Shona traveled to Toledo and then to Detroit with her mom to see Wicked and have a day with the Muller women. The show was wonderful and the entire day made for a great start to the break!

After celebrating our Christmas in Thornville, we headed to Delaware on Christmas Eve to see our families. Lucky for us, we married siblings, so all of our parents were able to join us in Delaware. We went to church and then enjoyed lots of good food and time together. In the morning we opened gifts with Jan, Reg, Tyler and Kristin and enjoyed a fabulous brunch!

Another fun thing about our Christmas this year was getting to meet the newest addition to our family, Keo. Tyler and Kristin adopted a very cuddly little shih tzu puppy who we got to know over the holiday.

Christmas in Thornville

Jason and Shona went out to dinner for her birthday then went out and picked out a Christmas tree, then headed home to set it up and decorate. Throughout the first days of December the rest of the house was decorated as well. We kept it simple outside due to Jason's current project of installing new windows. We celebrated our Christmas before we left home December 23rd. Shona received a Gore-Tex rain coat and a coat rack/leash rack Jason made to hang by the back door with pictures of the dogs. Jason received a new pair of jeans and a rechargeable hanging LED light. The girls of course received presents and we all had stockings. It was a fun morning!

Birthday - New Camera!!

Well, it's been a long time coming, but we're back up and going with the blog. I got a new camera for my birthday. It's smaller and much easier to carry around. More importantly, I now know where my cable is for downloading pictures!!! We went to Mom and Dad's earlier this month to celebrate my 29th (yes, really 29, please no comments about the flaming birthday dessert! :-) birthday along with Ty and Kristin. We ordered pizza and made gingerbread houses, which is a celebrated Hollinger Christmas tradition. However, it was the first time Kristin has joined us.
